excellent access to parks and local dining spots
I had a delightful stay and appreciated the friendly staff and the excellent access to both beautiful bloomiehall park, which was only a short stroll away, and various local eateries like the grey horse inn, perfect for a cozy dinner after a day of exploring. the room was clean and comfortable, making it an ideal choice for my solo adventure. however, it would be great if the dining options were a bit more flexible with payment methods.

The stylish decor provided a cozy atmosphere, but noise from the bar was disruptive.

The bed was very comfy.
We were really looking forward to a relaxing stay, but our room being right adjacent to the kitchen made everything difficult. The constant sounds of clattering dishes and loud talking from staff disrupted our peace, especially after a long journey. It was irritating to have to endure the noise until the kitchen closed at 9pm, and even then, the bar below was loud until late, leaving us feeling restless during our stay.

Everything about this place was stunning! The staff went above and beyond when they found out my wife was gluten free, they even made her the best burger she's had in two years and she was over the moon.
It wasn’t cheap but it was still acceptable.

Just a strong match for a little getaway in Edinburgh with outstanding value for money. The room was cozy enough for a solo traveler, and I appreciated the fact that I could close all my bags. Just be prepared for a small space.

I really appreciated how clean and comfy our room was. The little touches like fresh flowers by the window made our stay extra special. The cozy garden area offered a hammock and some lovely seats for relaxing in the sun. The only downside was that the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty, but it didn’t ruin our experience at all! 😊

great food and park views just steps away
The staff was brilliant from the start and i really enjoyed the lovely views offered by nearby mur wood park, making it the perfect base for my weekend explorations which included a short stroll to the balerno fry for breakfast. while the room size was a bit on the small side, it was quite comfortable for my solo stay.
